Fanatics X Zerocool

We partnered with Fanatics and their new culture trading card franchise, Zerocool, for their first appearance at The National Sports Collectors Convention. We created a showstopping experience that elevated their brand and built culture trading card excitement both on and off the convention floor.

Spatial Design
For their custom booth, we created a 16-foot monolithic LED cube (zerotron) that took center stage and displayed a range of content that could be seen from across the convention. Stadium seating gave collectors a place to relax and charge their phones. Each entrance featured vending machines that we outfitted to distribute card packs and card collector swag. We also built a VIP lounge across the aisle for clients and guests.

Brand Partner: Stranger Things
Zerocool partnered with Stranger Things on a season 4 card pack, and to announce its release, we created an experience that began with a giant grandfather clock countdown, followed by a Stranger Things trading card vending machine, and ended with an AR takeover. Collectors lined up hours in advance to grab these promo packs and take part in the experience.
Brand Partner: Dune
The desert planet Arrakis from DUNE also made multiple appearances as a full takeover of the zerotron. As we built anticipation for the upcoming trading card release, we invited collectors to grab free promo cards, immerse themselves in the landscape, and stop for a quick selfie booth moment that had them step into the lenticular DUNE promo card.
Brand Partner: Clerks III
The Zerotron also periodically transformed into the Quick Stop from Clerks III as a part of the trading card announcement. A zerocool-branded storefront beckoned collectors from across the convention floor to roll through, grab a promo pack, and take photos next to the iconic set. To cap it off, on Friday we hosted a larger than life Q&A interview with Kevin Smith on the zerotron.
Social Content
We created a Stranger Things 4 teaser video that built excitement for the card drop in the days leading up to the event. We also shot and edited a recap IG reel that showcased the massive hit that was the zerocool x Stranger Things portion of the convention.
